Guided by bare hands...

an intuitive touch attuned to your body

About Gregory Bear

My interest in bodywork was inspired by the amazing results I received from structural bodywork following a back injury. I became fascinated with Dr. Ida Rolf’s method of Structural Integration, a modality that reorganizes the body's fascia for more alignment.

In 2017 I graduated from Asheville School of Massage and Yoga and have since received additional structural bodywork training under the tutelage of multiple Rolf therapists. Practicing at an assortment of spas, clinics, and events has provided me with a variety of laboratory settings to develop my unique style.

My personal and professional evolution have taught me how various traumas can shape a person. As a result, my interests have expanded into energetic medicine.

I am currently enrolled in a Master’s level program in acupuncture at Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine.

In addition, I’ve received mentorship at The Alternative Clinic, where I've learned various bodywork techniques and applications through classical Chinese Medical lineage.

The Path of the Student

I am incredibly grateful to learn and share healing modalities that cultivate an ever-expanding understanding of the body. I offer bodywork that is current and continuously evolving. As a practitioner I work slowly and smooth to provide deep relaxation and highly effective pain management techniques with a firm, yet sensitive and gentle touch.
